Control and verification
One of the Blue-Quality system’s assets is its control and verification procedure. The Blue-Quality system is not only built on a moral commitment nor even a written one.
Indeed, those formal expectations are completed by audits and verifications.
The reliability of the Blue-Quality system is all the more proven because its control and verification procedure is inspired from the strict methods of products’ safety found in the food industry. The control of the system operates on three levels :
- The validation of the organisations presented by the fishermen, the wholesale fish merchants and the processing staff is directly carried out by one or more members of the Blue Quality Planning Committee or by an appointed chartered research department.
- The regular traceability verification procedures allow to guarantee and to establish the aptitude of the worker to set up adapted verification means so as to guarantee the respect of the Blue Quality specifications’ requirements.
- The regular verification procedure as audit by members of the Blue Quality Committee or by an appointed chartered research department.
